The Tucson Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter and the UA’s Beta Phi Chapter joined for a barbecue and Terry Valeski’s House on Oct. 30 to begin this year’s start of the mentoring program.
Twelve alums and 26 undergraduates attended the afternoon festivities that included a pumpkin carved with the Sigma Chi initials. Seventeen alums and 33 undergraduates are participating in the mentoring program.
Twenty-four Beta Phis are studying the business college.
Beta Phi Chapter Mentors Program was developed to create and perpetuate educational support, career advice and mentoring by Sigma Chi alumni for the benefit of the undergraduate members of the Beta Phi Chapter.
