Brother Jose Rincon, Beta Phi ’88, has been named one of four Fathers of the Year by the Father’s Day Council of Tucson. He will be honored at 5:30 p.m. June 13 at the council’s annual banquet at the Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort.
Since 1995 the council has honored men who have not only been successful in their chosen fields but also serve as role models in the Tucson community. Proceeds from the event go to the UA’s Steele Children’s Research Center.
As a therapeutic specialist in the anti-infective division of Pfizer Inc. , Rincon has dedicated his life to helping others. He has served on the boards of several local organizations, primarily choosing those that focus on helping the youth of Arizona, such as the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.
Congratulations to Brother Rincon for a richly deserved honor.
