For the second year in a row, the Beta Phi Chapter of Sigma Chi has been awarded the prestigious Dean Robert Svob Award for Excellence, the highest award bestowed upon any fraternity or sorority on the UA campus.
The award is named after Robert Svob, a Sigma Chi at the University of Arizona who graduated in 1942. Svob served the university for almost 40 years, retiring in 1983 as Dean of Students.
