More than 50 Beta Phi Brothers attended the Hall of Honor luncheon on April 17 to hear UA athletic director Greg Byrne talk about the future of Wildcat sports at the La Hermosa Inn in Scottsdale.

Byrne stressed the university’s commitment to being the best athletic department in the state.

Attendees ranged from those who graduated in the 1940s to the 2000s, including former Grand Consul Jack McDuff.

New Beta Phi Consul Hunter Curtis and four other undergraduates also attended the luncheon. Curtis gave a round-down of the great success the chapter had this year, including the best chapter, best chapter president (Jon Eastman), the best chapter advisor (Robin Winters) and best grade point average.

The gathering is one of two Hall of Honor luncheons to be held each year in the Phoenix area.
