The University of Arizona has rated Beta Phi as a Chapter of Excellence for its performance during last fall’s semester.

 

The university’s Fraternity and Sorority Programs Office gave the Sigma Chi Chapter a 99.88 percent ranking based on academics, leadership and involvement, chapter management, recruitment, health and wellness, and membership education.

 

Ratings of 80 percent plus are considered Chapters of Achievement, 70 percent plus are Chapters of Promise, and below that chapters are placed on probation.

 

The chapter also had the highest grade point average -- 2.984 -- of any fraternity on campus with more than five members.

 

The young men of the undergraduate chapter deserve our congratulations for this achievement. We realize it is the result of much hard work.
