Mission Statement: The Sigma Chi Building Company exists to acquire, own or lease, real property for the purpose of providing a safe and distinctive living environment for the undergraduate members of the Beta Phi Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. The “Chapter House” shall exist to foster the ideals of friendship, justice and learning. Officers and Directors of the Sigma Chi Building Company are involved in the administration of legal issues, facility management, fund raising, and other relevant housing issues for the Beta Phi Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

History:
The Sigma Chi Building Company, an Arizona Corporation was formed in 1928 by the original incorporators Harold G. Wilson and H.C. Tovrea . It exists to facilitate the leasing and management of the current chapter facility at 1423 East First Street at the University of Arizona. Additionally, the Sigma Chi Building Company is involved in ongoing fundraising activities for the design and construction of the planned Chapter House at the northeast corner of First Street and Vine Street. All real estate related issues for the Beta Phi Chapter are the domain and responsibility of the Sigma Chi Building Company.
